Facebook company WhatsApp has partnered with ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank for this service. Currently, under this service of WhatsApp, there has been talk of giving insurance and pension in rural areas.

whatsApp India Head Abhijit Bose has said that the company wants to ease banking service in the coming year by partnering with more banks, especially for low income and rural people.

Under the partnership with the bank, customers will be able to communicate with the bank through automated text. For this, you have to register your WhatsApp number in the bank. After this, customers will be able to get other information related to their account from bank balance only on WhatsApp

The WhatsApp India head has also said that in the next two years, the company's target is to ease the facilities like insurance, micro credit and pension for low-income workers with the banks. The company is preparing to start its pilot project soon.

It is important to note that WhatsApp has been testing WhatsApp Payment in India since two years ago, i.e. from 2018, but till now it has not been approved by the government.
